The GW Sustainable Urban Planning program invites you to an evening of celebrating our community! Whether you are a graduate of the program, a current student, or a community partner, join us to explore the latest student research, meet our Alumni Council and Advisory Board, and hear from our keynote speaker, Dr. Derek Hyra. Dr. Hrya is the bestselling author of Race, Class and Politics in the Cappuccino City, which many students will recognize from our introductory course, Principles of Sustainability, and an expert of gentrification in Washington, DC.
